Role Description
We’re looking for a true Technical Co-Founder and partner to join us at Miirr.ai. This isn’t just an early hire, you’ll be shaping the company alongside the founding team, owning technical vision, and building our product from the ground up. You’ll bring deep AI expertise and a passion for transforming the fashion merchandising space, working hand in hand with our CEO (a former fashion merchandising leader) as a thought partner. Together, you’ll blend industry knowledge with cutting-edge AI to create a category-defining product. This role goes far beyond writing code: you’ll co-own product strategy, drive architectural decisions, help set company culture, and guide Miirr’s evolution from MVP to market leader. This is the chance to co-create a company at the intersection of AI and fashion merchandising, with space to experiment, break things, and rebuild fast.

Responsibilities

• Co-create the founding vision and transform into a working AI product.

• Build and iterate quickly, experimenting, hacking, and shipping code daily.

• Lead AI-first product development, using Ai tools to create the highest quality product for Ai consumers

• Define and own the long-term technical roadmap, system architecture, and infrastructure.

• Collaborate as a true thought partner with the CEO, merging industry insights with technical innovation.

• Engage with early customers to ensure product-market fit and rapid iteration.

• Help shape company culture and values as a co-founder.

• Drive the platform from MVP to scale, laying the foundation for long-term success.

Qualifications

• See yourself as an AI-native engineer/CTO (living in Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

• Have deep AI/ML expertise with proven experience deploying real-world AI products.

• Are excited about the fashion merchandising space and eager to push innovation in retail tech.

• Have experience taking products end-to-end, ideally at an early-stage startup.

• Bring strong full-stack engineering skills (databases, APIs, web architecture).

• Are a builder who’s comfortable being scrappy early, then scaling as we grow.

• Stay mentally curious and keep up with the latest tools, products, and research.

• Love building, hacking, and experimenting on your own as much as collaborating

• Are product-oriented and care about translating vision into something users love

• Have startup or scrappy experience, and are excited to build quickly.

Bonus if you have

• Experience with e-commerce SaaS platforms or Shopify ecosystem.

• Background in product ingestion, image recognition, or trend-tracking tools.

• Startup fundraising or investor-facing experience.

• Have worked in e-commerce, retail tech, or fashion merchandising.
